Rainbows End Touches the Ground

This is probably one of the most amazing things we’ve ever seen in our lives – the real end of a rainbow. Rainbows are fairly common because of where our house sits on Long Mountain. It’s a true sign of spring when the rains pass in late afternoon and a rainbow comes out. That never gets old. But this one is very unique.

Note how you can see the rainbow in front of those trees.

Sure, it’s a double but there’s still something even more amazing about this one. Click on the image below and you’ll see that the rainbow is actually in front of the trees on the lower part of our property (about 200 fee away) and you can actually see where it touches the ground. I never realized that they could be seen that close but it not unreasonable considering the physics.

In the Bible, the rainbow is a direct reference to a promise of God rather than the more recent expropriations as leprechauns, pots of gold, or the homosexual movement. I’ll honor the former rather than the later.
