Yes, we found him sleeping in this position. I think he’s dreaming of being super-cat.

Here’s a shot of the July 12 and 13 papers. I’m glad I don’t rely on the Bonner County Daily Bee for facts such as what day today is.

First Harvest.

Tuesday, July 10th, 2012

Yes sir, here is the first haul of the season from our garden. Washed and ready to be split among Jenny, Mom, and Myself. Feel free to click and enlarge it so you can see the wonderful details.

We each had a slice and agreed that it had a mighty satisfying flavor for it’s size.

A tribute to someone’s dad

Monday, July 9th, 2012

While riding ATVs atop some mountains this past weekend, we came across this humble grave-site. Unlike the crosses along the highway, this one rests where one can view three states and much of the surrounding towns. Whomever “Dad” is, if this is where he wanted his final resting place, he enjoyed some rugged activities just to know of this place.

Next to the grave are some rocks, painted by children. With over 100 inches of snow on the ground in the winter, these little tokens would have been washed away. Which means that someone, somewhere, is still venturing up here to visit Dad and building memories.

His grave overlooks something of a hint of what heaven will be like. I hope that Dad knew Jesus. And that he will be joined by his wife and children some day. And that they can continue this adventure, together, forever.

Not too hot to snuggle

Sunday, July 8th, 2012

It’s 90+ degrees today and yet these fur covered cats were found snuggling together. It made us overheat just looking at them.
