A Little Light Cleaning with UV

This post dedicated to my germophobe friends.

It’s well known that ultra violet (UV) rays kill really nasty germs (staff, cryptosparidiam, E.Coli, and many other nasties) by messing with their DNA. Hospitals use them to kill germs, and there is even a water filter light that makes water drinkable. I’ve been wanting such a light to make sure my bathroom is “really” clean. But filters sold for air cleaning are very expensive. With a little research I found a solution.

This may appear to be a water filter, but take it apart and turn it on (then clear out because the rays are not good for humans) and you have yourself a very inexpensive room sterilizer.
