I don’t know where the sixth turkey has gone off to but I haven’t seen her in about a week. We assume she’s gone to camp (the preverbial place where turkeys go to have fun). So, with only 5 of them, they are now the Fives. I’m not sure if I want to hand feed them but they are as close as my feet.
The gifts were barely unwrapped before the wrapping was claimed by peanut. 
I’m still practicing drawing on my tablet. This one turned out nice enough that I think we’ll be using it for our Christmas Cards. Originally this was a photo from our yard.

I thought this would turn out better than it did but that’s why they call it practice.
Today marks the end of an era. We’ve been here long enough (7 years) that the state is replacing our license plates. Call me sentimental, but these were the first non-Illinois license plates we’ve had since we began driving.

Finger painting on my tablet. It’s a flower. I have to state this because many folks didn’t realize my last image was a calf (mistaking it for a deer, goat, hedgehog, etc.). Clearly, this stuff requires practice.

I’ve been so inspired by paintings by my mom and my sister. Two very talented artists. I can only aspire to their level. Using the medium of my tablet, I thought I’d take a crack at some painting myself. Here’s one of my first efforts. Yes, I have a long way to go.
